Summary
At the beginning of this tale, Framton Nuttal, a man who is in the countryside because a rest cure for his nerves, is session talking to Vera, a 15 year shrewd girl. Vera is a niece of Mrs Sappleton, a woman to whom Frampton has been given a verbal expression of introduction by his sister.
While they are delaying for Mrs Sappleton to come downstairs, Vera tells Framton that her aunt's manage with frugality and two young brothers were drowned in the marshes under which circumstances out shooting several years ago. The catastrophe sent the aunt out of her attend to, and she always keeps the French window (glass way) into the garden open, believing that they be inclined come back.
Mrs Sappleton then arrives, apologising against the open window and explaining that she is expecting her husband and brothers any moment. Framton plays in company with her, until he is horrified through seeing three figures, and a dog, advent out of the dusk towards the company. He runs away in panic; the husband and brothers arrive, very puzzled by the guest's strange behaviour. Vera calmly tells them that it mouldiness have been the dog; he told her he was terrified of dogs for being attacked by wild dogs in India.

At the beginning of the Reading while I read the title, The Open Window, ” in that place was a clear feeling which came to my sentiment. And it was the idea of a cabalistic story that a family lived in one isolated farm. Also I thought that the bring to knowledge window that had just been mentioned enjoin be the main scenario in which all the facts will occur. Once I versed in books the tale I didn’t effect, that all was a completely inventing Vera told to Mrs Framptom. But it was at the support time when I read it carefully and I understood that totality the tragedy she told him was fit product of her imagination.This fiction achieved to confuse me at altogether. But for me, it was pleasing and amusing because it caught my attention all the time. And it in like manner created me a doubt if this growing called Vera,...
