Biodiesel, a encouraging substitute as an alternative fuel has gained significative attention due to the finite system of created things of fossil energy sources and does not effect sulfur oxides and minimize the soot particulate in comparison with the existing the same from petroleum diesel. The utilization of mellifluous fuels such as biodiesel produced from
plant oil by transesterification process represents individual of the most promising
options beneficial to the use of conventional fossil fuels.
In the foremost step of this experimental research, esculent rice bran oil used as experiment material and converted into methyl ester and non-eatable jatropha vegetable oil is converted into jatropha oil methyl ester, that are known as biodiesel and they are
prepared in the personality of homogeneous acid catalyst and optimized their operating parameters like reciprocal action temperature, quantity of alcohol and the catalyst claim, stirring rate and time of esterification. In the next to the first step, the physical
properties such viewed like density, flash point, kinematic viscosity, multitude point, and pour
point were cast out for the above vegetable oils and their methyl esters. The corresponding; of like kind
characteristics study was also carried not at home for the diesel fuel for obtaining the baseline facts for analysis. The values obtained from the rice bran oil methyl ester and
jatropha oil methyl ester are closely matched through the values of conventional diesel
and it be able to be used in the existing diesel instrument without any hardware modification.
In the third part step the storage characteristics of biodiesel are in like manner studied.
