Assessment and Prior Learning
My group of learners are from various backgrounds, and be delivered of an average
age of 26 years of verge of life. They are on an HND Graphic Design regularity and
generally they are all suitable in the basic skills required in opposition to such a
course. Some of the learners had before taken the ND Graphic Design
move swiftly, which is basically a feeder to the Higher National Diploma. Other
learners had in ~ degree formal design qualifications other than craft ‘A’ level and a
strong portfolio. A supercilious proportion of the learners had scanty or no computer
knowledge, other than the basic operations. Those through little computer
knowledge will need ~ordinary help in learning the main design packages
required ~ dint of. potential employers.
Prior learning can be accredited by an assessment so that the learner is expert
to validate any claims made. This enables a more excellent estimate to be obtained of
the time needed to attain assessment standard.
Work experience is a essential element of the learning...
