kaleidoscope is a cylinder by mirrors containing loose, colored objects similar as beads or pebbles and bits of glass. As the viewer looks into common end, light entering the other creates a colorful figure, due to the reflection off of the mirrors. Coined in 1817 through Scottish inventor Sir David Brewster,[1] "kaleidoscope" is derived from the Ancient Greek (kalos), "handsome, beauty",[2] (eidos), "that which is seen: figure, shape"[3] and (skope), "to influence by ~s to, to examine",[4] hence "observance of beautiful forms." [5]

A Kaleidoscope operates up~ the body the principle of multiple reflection, to which place several mirrors are placed at one angle to one another, (usually 60°). Typically in that place are three rectangular mirrors set at 60° to reaped ground other so that they form every equilateral triangle. The 60° angle creates seven duplicate images of the objects, five at 60°, and 2 at 90°. As the tube is rotated, the tumbling of the colored objects presents varying flag and patterns.
