Student Characteristics

Introduction:
Riley is a 4-year-intelligent preschooler at Millicent Fenwick Childcare Center/ Preschool in Basking Ridge NJ. She is in place of education for a full day 8:15-615 everyday Monday from one side Friday. Riley is a very group oriented worker and also enjoys moving on her own when instructed to cheat so. At her school they desire centers of play; one is the Lego segment, the other is a play kitchen, a doll stage, a reading corner, the canvas portion (where they do their painting), than the tables as antidote to everything else. The children have cubbies since their belongings and for their indoctrinate supplies. Their artwork is hung from top to toe the classroom and it makes the environment of the classroom same opening and inviting.

Basking Ridge is every upper class area predominately a white area but a diverse town. The childcare center be possible to hold up to 125 children from a hundred years’s 6months- 5 years old. Riley has pair teachers in her classroom of 20 children, Miss Kristen and Miss Debbie. The children are grouped into sundry groups for different activities so every student has the chance to interact through other students. Than there are other activities at which place the teachers group the children based in c~tinuance their learning style so nobody feels left aloud and within their group they be possible to help each other.

The students be seized of gym on Mondays, plus everyday during the term of an hour before lunch they are given time in the gym to hindrance off some energy before lunch and naptime. Than without ceasing Fridays they have music class by Miss Shelly. What I found real interesting, that I think is people of distinction for the kids, is that they achieve this program called CATCH where they bring about active and fun games that elucidate the students to work together and keeps them sedulous. Every week too they learn a novel letter of the alphabet and with learning “ABCD…” words they learn by what mode to do the letter in sign...
