“Rocking at the Thrift”
Have you for~ heard of a rock show essence played at a thrift store? I lay that you haven’t! When commonalty first hear about this, they often ask questions like, “Do the bands use in ~ing with clothes racks in front of them?” As the chanter of the band Ventruss, I had scheduled my clique to play at 8:00 PM at Here Today Gone Tomorrow, a good-husbandry store in Baton Rouge, LA. April 27, 2013 is one exact night I remember from the Thrift Store. It was a Saturday, and it was our in the beginning show in two months. The twenty-four hours started as I waited at my place of entertainment in New Roads, LA for my intimate Travus to meet me. He lives thirty completely of the way, so it was added convenient for me if he drove himself to my home. Once he got to my kindred, we relaxed, told some jokes, and watched a unimportant television. At around 2:00 PM, we headed opposite to to round everybody up for that was sure to be an awesome ignorance.
We drove down to Maringouin to peck up Whitney, who was my girlfriend at the time. As I turned into her driveway, I set up myself unexpectedly stuck of a colossal mud puddle. Her parents, fortunately, were not bothered. It wasn’t until after I spoke with her parents that I realized she wasn’t home. She had went to Port Allen to visit her sister along with her nieces and nephews. Adding to the annihilation, she still had to go pick up one of our friends Adam Layton, who I was joining for the first time. That’s while I realized I had forgotten to demand everyone with a specific time because of us to meet up. This was a in posse disaster as I had told the booking doer at the store that I would subsist there by 6:30.
After touching thirty minutes of nervous pacing, Whitney and Adam lastly arrived. When she got out of her car wearing a pair of shorts and an old T-shirt, I realized that she calm had to get ready before we could allowance.
