The Catcher in the Rye Asymmetrical Power Assignment

In the romance, Catcher in the Rye, by JD Salinger, I think to be true that the author uses self-demise, separation, and rebellion through the vast character, Holden, to contradict the dominant ideology of present day society.
In the inauguration of the novel, Holden attends a fancy boarding school, which he absolutely despises and avoids falling into the robotic lifestyle and activities of the other boys. This is made clear when Holden does not attend the football, wears his red hunting cap that seems unusual for a lad in his setting, and the real existence that although Holden is a real smart boy, he is a failure in the classroom. For example, in the world in that place are prostitutes, hookers, and drug dealers, in such a manner in the book the author creates the spectacle where Holden orders a prostitute, bound upon seeing how young she is and realizing she in likelihood has a family, send her away without doing anything. This is lawful one of the many examples that shows Holden discovering the realities of his the community, being upset or disappointed with them, and choosing not to take a part in in them. Although Holden can exist considered by some to be a hard child because he is a in want student, socially awkward, and does not come certain rules, I believe that Holden is really the...
