These include irritability, lack of patience, feelings of disillusion, need of satisfaction from accomplishments, change in quiescent and eating patterns and physiological response such as headaches, neck and back worry (Weber and Jaekel-Reinhard, 2000; Baker et. al., 2000; Onder and Basim, 2008; Maslach, Schaufeli and Leiter, 2001).
Although the name ‘job burnout’ was, as Weber and Jaekel-Reinhard (2000) described it, ‘coined’ in the USA in the 19070’s. It was Maslach’s (1981) introductory treatise of a further reaching definition, in the manner that well as providing an instrument in quest of measuring burnout namely, Maslach Burnout Inventory, that is tranquil commonly used (Schaufeli, Leiter and Maslach 2008).
