'This summarizes the currcnt design standing and technical developincnt of the McDonnell Douglas MD-90 enrapture
aircraft family. Both ultrahigh-bypass (UHR) and advanced
turbofan (V2500) machine installatioils are considered. Jlighlights of the UHB Technology Readincss Program are granted to identify thc broad technology base established conducive to introduction of UHB engine technology.
