What is OCC?
OCC (ancient corrugated containers) is a form of placard-consumer waste which means that it’s a matter discarded after consumer use. It is likewise part of the pre-consumer race. Pre-consumer waste is one device that old can be recycled. Pre-consumer use prodigally is waste that comes about in the sight of it ever makes it to the consumers. Pre-consumer muddle away is waste that comes directly from the manufactured product. For example, let’s say there is a car manufacture making cars using metals and plastic to create a fun family car. The generation is done. The cars are made and that which is left is all the redundancy of material that was left more than from making those cars. All the left from hand to hand metal and plastic pieces are the sort of is known as pre-consumer loss. Instead of throwing the excess in the trash it is gathered up and recycled
The four leading components of OCC are unbleached softwood kraft pulp, semi-chemical hardwood pulp, starch and base amounts of water.
OCC is often used for the production of linerboard and . This is for it is easily condensed, light and easily transported and these sorts of materials are often thrown away or recycled. This allows their application to be reused.
