In the films directed and produced through Tim Burton the most apparent characteristic is the of the eye style, the strange worlds and their stylized complexion have a design that is unique and recognizable. His love for everything things dark and bizarre has in a high degree. influenced the visual style of his films. Burton has a infamous and gothic visual style, and Batman Returns is a defining film of Burton’s trademark Gothicism that established his recognizable of the eye style which was later used in tot~y of his films. First question we bear to ask ourselves is how the movie fits into the rude tradition? Although the film is urban, it has a rude, fairy-tale like gothic vibe to it.
